AMERICA’S GREAT LEAP BACKWARDS ......
Please allow me share some thoughts with you, ones that you just might want to reflect upon ----
Given the fact that the liberal assault upon America is so massive – indeed so pervasive – might it just be possible that various control freaks from within that ilk could have covertly programmed us as a nation to the point where we now truly abhor anything that resembles a genuine, serious, and comprehensive type of discussion – one that is actually detailed oriented?
Now – if that sounds totally absurd – consider still another statement just as preposterous – that we as a nation have also been maneuvered by those same control freaks into actually preferring a 5-second sound bite – simply by the process of us having been unknowingly force fed a steady diet of such stuff through a variety of different venues – some of which must include watching our TV’s and ingesting the garbage that has been fed to us by the liberal news media.
But of course, we all know that such thoughts and fears are totally ludicrous. After all, these types of advancements have been designed to save us a lot of time while also making us far more productive – to say nothing of the fact that they also make our lives so much easier, thereby still preserving some time for family and friends! And, do we not deserve that?!
But if such a thing is true – then – that in turn would beg still another question. Is it possible that something has been going on behind the scenes – yet – we are completely unaware of it?!
For instance, is it not true that we are purposely inundated with so much information today that it becomes almost impossible for us to actually sort it all out?! And, why is there such a big promotional emphasis on entertainment? And then, why is it that we have to work so hard?!
I ask these questions because I am old enough to remember back to the day when the pace was far more relaxed, providing far more free time – yet back then – we still got so much done! But now it is just the opposite, we are kept so busy – and of course – we have to stay busy just to keep our jobs! But yet at the end of the day, we still really do not have any job security!
Rather, the job market has been flooded with a huge number of workers – driving the cost down while increasing their profit margin. Each one of us has to deal with this fact of life every day of our lives. That is why all too often both of our moms and dads now have to work those long hours at work just to make the ends meet. And then, one wonders why the family unit is falling apart and being destroyed! Separate the children from their parents as much as possible. Might all of this be by design? So in the end, might there really be a cause and effect here?

If you are still reading this document – then – there just might be a chance – and therefore – an opportunity for us to have a real, meaningful type of discussion. And if that is true; then, please allow me to share some more thought provoking ideas with you.
For instance, what if we actually could eliminate 50-60% - or more of our need for jet fuel?
And then, what if we could also eliminate 50-60% - or more of our need for diesel fuel to power our trains and trucks?
And finally then, what if we could even eliminate 50-60% - or more of our total demand; and thus, our total requirement for all the gasoline that we need so as to fuel our cars?
In fact – what if we could accomplish ALL 3 of these goals at the SAME time?!
WHAT THEN?
EQUALLY IMPORTANT – ASK YOURSELF THIS SIMPLE QUESTION:
Would such a thing be truly beneficial for America?!
Yet at this point, I must ask and wonder within myself – is it really so idiotic; and thus, so impossible for us to think that we could ever achieve these types of objectives – therefore in the end, are such dreams and goals nothing more than just that pie in the sky stuff?
But, THAT is just the point!
I DO think that such things are still possible for us – indeed – truly possible for us!
AND YES --- I also think that we DO have a real opportunity here!

I feel this way because I STILL believe in America!
Thus, I am going to promote an idea – a very specific type of idea – in fact – a proposal for you to review – which will be presented at the very end. But, this concept does not exist within a vacuum all by itself. Rather, it is just one part of a far larger, more inclusive vision that I have.
And, if we would ever put it all together and set this proposal [or a variation thereof] into motion, it would look very similar to Newt Gingrich’s 1994 Contract with America.
But in reality – it is far more than that. In fact – it is something that is very akin to the whole concept of the Tea Parties and even Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project! The first part here has been designed to express complete solidarity with those concepts; and possibly even to provide some additional insight. The last part contains the actual proposal that fits so well into those concepts.
In functional reality, it must become a crusade for us – a crusade for each one of us as individual Americans – YES – for each one of us to rediscover and recapture the very essence of what our founding fathers had actually created for us when they first created our nation way back then!
What is more, it will also take a level of resolve on our part that will rival the very best that our nation has ever produced – especially so during those most critical periods of our past!
To that end, the following discussion includes a few of the main points that will – indeed – that must eventually be at the very foundation of this crusade:
01] Our first and primary objective must be to ultimately create our own TV news network – one that is truly conservative in nature – and also preferably – one that is Christian based.
As conservative, Christian, and patriotic Americans, we cannot rely upon the liberal news media to ever accurately present our side to the rest of America.
Now, as we all know, we have always been taught that the press is supposed to function as a check upon the government and other entities. Well then, in a perfect world, I suppose that can work – sometimes. But my major question is this:
Who in the world is it that really checks the press to keep them honest and truthful?!
The sad truth is that no one does! In fact, Pravda could have taken some lessons from our very own American press on how to really manipulate and manage the population!
And, the same exact thing goes for our school system. It is no longer an education in the traditional or classical senses of the term. Rather now, it is nothing more than left wing programming and outright brainwashing.
What is worse, we have allowed those of the liberal persuasion to set the standards, to define the terms, to identify everything in the world, and to label who and what everything is.
02] And yes it is true that of late, we have had the Fox News Channel to look at. But, even they are not the total answer.
Now, my objective here is not to trash the Fox News Network as such. I watch them all the time. I am so very thankful that they are on the scene.
But since the liberals have taken the degree of power that they have, I have even noticed the ground under them to also shifting more to the left! That is anything but an encouraging sign!
And likewise, we must also keep a few other things in mind. Their main goal is to make money. There is nothing wrong with that. Even our conservative network should do that.
Thus, on the one hand, they use the concept of we report – you decide. And I might add that that concept is an excellent idea and approach. But also, they have decided to use; and thus, they have created their fair and balanced approach as a secondary goal or means to an end.
Of necessity then, that must include a steady diet of controversy so as to gain attention; and in their mind, that is what sells their product. But, what that also means is that both sides must have an opportunity to present their case.
But it is at THAT very point that I must ask a very simple question.
Even under the best of circumstances, how can one ever have a fair and balanced discussion about whether or not 2 + 2 =’s 4?!
It either does or does not! AFTER ALL, fact is fact! And, the truth is the truth! And very obviously, it does not equal 3! Nor, does it equal 5!
Yet nevertheless, there are those who do want to have the freedom to do whatever it is that they want to do with that simple, universal, absolute truth!
And for those types of people, truth and facts are very painful things; thus for them, such truths and facts are indeed a most inconvenient truth!
Thus in the end, the fundamental, the primary, the ultimate question really becomes: Is one required to give liars, cheats, and crooks an equal voice to spread their poison just so that one can claim to be fair and balanced?!
03] Of necessity, this same principle must also then apply to the doctrines of our nation.
The primary and foremost document is our Declaration of Independence. And from that and out of that document, first the Northwest Ordinance; and then, our Constitution was then created.
The order here is very important. Of course over time, other things like the Bill of Rights, the Federalist Papers, the Supreme Court decisions, and so forth have also been added and/or became important.
But yet as a nation, we have to rediscover what our founding fathers were getting at and trying to accomplish when they first created our nation.
And, that process has to be solidly based upon the founding documents – the doctrines upon which our nation was created – which of necessity then – MUST also include the fact and reality that we – as a nation – had a Christian foundation and roots.
After all, we were neither atheists nor a Muslim people and nation when we were first created ----
WE WERE A CHRISTIAN PEOPLE AND NATION!
I am sorry – but the hard, cold facts of the matter are what they are.
And, just like it is for that math problem above – we will never, ever stop our continuous march away from our foundation; and, towards outright socialism, fascism, and eventually even an outright dictatorship and totalitarianism ---
UNTIL we reach the point as a nation to where we finally come to grips with the facts and the conclusion that BOTH – our nation’s doctrinal base and our Christian doctrinal base – are the most important – indeed – the primary concerns that we have in life.
04] Of necessity then, that also automatically means that this approach to life is in direct opposition to the current philosophy and doctrine that permeates virtually every part of our lives individually, our entire society in general, and our overall national mind set.
And, that is the doctrinal concept and approach to life that is summed up by that well known doctrine and phrase: deeds not creeds. This same concept has also been highly promoted within ever so many Christian circles.
Over time, this doctrinal concept has been promoted as the end all and be all answer to every issue and concern before us – both big and small – for both us as a nation and individually.
But in reality – it truly is just the opposite. It really should be and is ---
CREEDS NOT DEEDS!
05] And in turn, ever so many of our fellow countrymen have switched it all around through their promoting the deeds not creeds doctrinal base and approach to life – all of which has been done in the name of expediency; and thereby, to be able to get so many good things done!
And smelling an opening here, various proponents from within that radical left wing element within America have also jumped on the band wagon; and, have adopted and used that doctrinal concept as their primary tool so as to get what they want.
Unfortunately in the process, that type of doctrinal approach is actually destroying our nation. This is true because this approach automatically takes our attention off of our doctrinal foundation.
Rather, the all important thing – the entire focus of all of our attention and energy is then switched to what we do and do not do in life – and thus – upon what we actually accomplish in life.
In other words, we become like a ship without a rudder! What is worse – we actually end up coming to endorse and live by that well know slogan: The ends justify the means!
And when that happens, ever so many of our fundamental doctrines are entirely forgotten, corrupted, and eventually destroyed over time. And, this same problem is also rampant within major segments of our Christian community.
06] So as to understand what is being stated here, consider some additional information.
For instance, during the last 170 years or so, Europe has seen a flood of different types of ISM’s that have been created. They had been created over there so as to solve this or that problem.
Not a single one of these ISM’s had ever been created within America. BUT RATHER, every last one of them had been created over there in Europe – AND THEN – imported into America!
YET – instead of rejecting such foreign ideas; and, remaining true to the doctrines of our nation as our founding fathers had hoped they would – ever so many of our fellow countrymen have continuously adopted and have worked very diligently so as to incorporate these ISM’s into our national fabric. And over the years, they have been very successful to one degree or another.
07] Now, this process is nothing new. Not every one was pro America even during the time of our Revolutionary War! There were ever so many people that had strong European leanings and tendencies, were still loyal to England, and in fact wanted to remain a colony of England.
Point of reference here might be to remember the divide between Benjamin Franklin and his own son. And throughout their life, they never did become reconciled as a family unit because of that very issue. And likewise – remember Benedict Arnold! YES – there is such a thing as a domestic enemy and a traitor – and our founding fathers knew that all too well!
The same thing was true during our Civil War. Back then, the south [under the control of the Democratic Party] was still very much in favor of slavery – which I might add – slavery was a European concept and business venture – NOT AN AMERICAN ONE!
And lest we forget – back then as a colony of England – we had little or nothing to say about what we could or could not do!!!!!
But unfortunately later on, in their attempt to justify their beliefs, those from amongst us who still supported those European ideas – such as slavery – purposely corrupted the entire doctrine of individual states rights just so they could try to justify their un-doctrinal beliefs in both the Christian and American governmental arenas and spheres.
Of course, the liberals and progressives from amongst us immediately jumped on that issue, subverted that issue completely, and have totally attacked anyone and everyone that even attempts to promote that doctrine – namely – the 10th Amendment of our Constitution.
The reason for such an attack is the fact that that doctrine is the single most important doctrine that can be used against them and their ideas of controlling everything and everyone!
08] And I might just add – who was it back then that actually did free the slaves?
It was none other than those from within the then young Republican Party that were the very ones who were in the forefront of that cause, championed it, and paid the ultimate price.
Yes back then, it required far, far more than just a simple vote in Congress like what was required of certain politicians back in the 1960’s.
It is so interesting – indeed – amazing to me to see how so many of us have been so easily programmed into actually thinking and believing that a simple vote in Congress back during the 1960’s was somehow the ONLY defining moment in our total national effort so as to finally free our fellow countrymen from slavery!
WHAT A SHAME THAT THE TRUTH IS SO DISTORTED AND BENT OUT OF SHAPE JUST SO ONE CAN SCORE SOME POLITICAL POINTS! WHAT A SHAME!
09] And if one wonders or is even curious, just ask them to take a long, hard, serious look back to the period of the Civil War.
During that period of our nation’s history, it literally cost the lives of 100’s of thousands of our fellow countrymen just so that others could actually and finally be set free! Yes, a very high price had to be paid just so that our fellow countrymen – who were yet living under the bonds of slavery – could finally be set free!
And in the end, one cannot find a more poignant, true, and righteous example of devotion to doctrine than what our fellow countrymen accomplished back during that Civil War!
Yes, they were very willing to pay the ultimate price by sacrificing their very lives – down to the very last ounce of their blood – as they tenaciously fought for and died over that doctrinal principle so as to achieve that most noble and righteous end!
But with our perfect 20/20 hind sight, we all must recognize and realize that everything did not work out the way so many had hoped. But most important though, the effort was still put forth!
And what is more, one must often wonder within themselves what ultimately might have happened had President Lincoln NOT been assassinated! One only knows!
Nevertheless, what a shining example and beacon for all of us to emulate!
Yes, it most definitely was an individual crusade for each and every one of them back then as they fought to the death to finally put into practice that doctrinal concept which was revealed all along within our very own Declaration of Independence – namely –
that ALL men are truly created equal by God Himself!
10] But now back to the present, one might ask – what kind of ISM’s am I talking about?
Well, they include concepts such as communism, socialism, Nazism, and fascism.
And, take a moment or two to stop to think about it for awhile.
To varying degrees and different levels of success, some of our fellow Americans have embraced, promoted, and tried to implement various portions of these ISM’s within America. And in doing so, they have completely ignored what our founding fathers had created!
Now, it has been easy for many of us to reject these glaring examples of outright evil. But even then, those who promote such things have never given up; and thus, have been quite successful in achieving what they wanted without us really being aware or conscious of it.
BUT – WHAT IS WORSE – THIS TYPE OF EVIL IS NOT REALLY THE END OF IT!
11] Those European ISM’s also includes things such as progressivism, realism, rationalism, evolutionism, naturalism, environmentalism, secularism, materialism, humanitarianism, idealism, legalism, atheism, agnosticism, racism, pacifism, Marxism.
AND YES – IT EVEN INCLUDES THINGS SUCH AS CONSUMERISM AND CAPITALISM!!!!
And, it is these more subtle examples of those ISM’s that have in fact caused the greatest harm to our nation – simply because they seem to be so benign, innocent, and even harmless – if not down right good and even advantageous!
Thus, over a period of time, many of our nation’s wealthiest people and others who shape and guide our nation’s destiny have embraced, supported, and promoted various aspects of those ISM’s!
And as a result – such things have been incorporated into our daily life – without us even being aware or conscious of it!
12] And, the best way to explain this process is to acknowledge the fact that as a nation, we have actually lost sight of the true meaning behind various words, concepts, and doctrines.
What, for instance, does the doctrine of the free enterprise system really and truly mean?! What kind of system was it that our founding fathers had in fact created for us!
Today, I never [or, rarely ever] hear of our economic system being referred to as the free enterprise system. Rather, it is always referred to as capitalism.
Unfortunately, even when it is referred to as the free enterprise system – it is only done so in glancing – with no real discussion or foundation being laid out – much less – no one even really thinks about what is being stated.
Yet, there is a WORLD of difference between these two doctrinal concepts!
The original doctrine of our free enterprise system has solid American roots.
Whereas conversely, the doctrine of capitalism has European roots; and, has actually been imported into America from Europe!
And, it is the fact that capitalism has been imported into America from Europe – YES – it is that very fact that has corrupted and destroyed the very foundation of our free enterprise system!
AND, WE ARE SEEING AND LIVING THE VERY RESULTS OF THAT PROCESS TODAY!!!!
13] We have to stop being apologetic for being PRO-AMERICAN – and – start to have faith in what our founding fathers had in fact created for us! And to do that – we have to embark on our own personal crusade so as to rediscover what in fact it is that they had created for us!
Thus to that end, here are a couple of side thoughts for you to chew on for awhile.
How does the doctrine and concept of planned obsolescence fit into all of this?
This is still another one of those things that came to us from Europe – this time – during the Roosevelt administration – way back there during the Great Depression. Under the “best of intentions”, they introduced and implemented this doctrine back during the 1930’s.
But in the end, what has become the final result of all their good intentions?! Well, we now find out that we have become nothing but economic slaves to this process. Thus, we never, ever really get ahead in life!
And, this is how it works.
Just about the time that we get something paid off, it breaks down; and, we have to go right back out again and re-purchase the same type of product all over again. Thus, we never really get ahead.
But unknown to most people, the simple process of creating things that we must repeatedly purchase over and over again from here to eternity was actually designed by our political leaders so as to create more revenue for the government. After all, every time that something is purchased, the government makes more money.
14] And there is a very specific reason why they needed to increase their revenue. They had to increase the government’s revenue just so that they could pay for their New Deal policies.
And from that time down to this very day, the same thing is still going on – and – we are really none the wiser! The new wrinkle today is that cap and trade thing – just another tax scheme to raise still more tax revenue.
So ever since the 1930’s and their concept of planned obsolescence, we have been on a continuous treadmill – a never ending cycle of economic slavery.
And now, we find that we are truly beholding to the government – yet – a government that continually preaches to us that they are looking out for us and that they care for us so much!
YEAH, RIGHT!
You say that you don’t believe me? Well then, why does it now take both husband and wife having to work just to stay afloat; much less, to get ahead?!
What then is the reason for that?
It is the simple fact that ever since the days of FDR, we have been maneuvered into embracing the doctrine that everything should be build so that it will wear out sooner rather than later. And we are told that that is good because it creates demand.
Never mind the fact that this doctrinal approach actually flies right in the face of that Christian doctrinal statement which very plainly states that we should be good stewards over what God has most graciously and freely given to us!
15] Yet originally, before the days of FDR, this did not happen. Things were actually designed and built to last far longer. And incidentally, good Christian stewardship was also alive and well back then.
But again, you say that you do not believe me?
Well – just look at any typical railroad bridge that was built ever so many years ago – like those built before the introduction of that planned obsolescence thing. These bridges are not hard to find. They are all over the place!
For instance, consider the railroad bridges that were built during the 1890’s. Yes, they are all over the place; and, they are still going strong! They are truly functional and still working fine!
Back then, such a type of engineering was solid. It was designed and built to last for many years into the future – and so thus in the end – that approach created and increased our wealth over time.
Unfortunately, our schools of higher learning have also fallen prey to this concept of planned obsolescence.
So that in functional reality, they have even come to the point of belittling and knocking down the doctrine of building products to last for as long as possible – as they actively promote this doctrine of planned obsolescence to one degree or another – even when there is no earthly reason to do so!
16] But then, look at what we have created by implementing this doctrine of planned obsolescence! Look at the average bridge that has been constructed for our new, modern Interstate Highway network.
These bridges are literally falling apart, as publicly acknowledged by the Obama administration.
Yet, these bridges are barely 50 years old – if even that old! And – they have been built after the introduction of that Planned Obsolescence thing into America!!!!
So again, one must ask – might there be a cause and an effect here?!
17] And what is more – since we have been on this steady march – having seen this big push to get the government involved in everything – well – what is it that we have created here?!
Let us take a closer look. To do so, we must do a comparison. For instance, back in time before our modern highway network, the railroads were the primary means of transportation.
By and large, they were responsible for maintaining their own right of way. They were not supported by our tax dollars. Thus, they could do what they wanted. And thus, we ended up with a bunch of those railroad bridges that are still very much functional down to this very day!
Conversely under present design, every building project in the public sector must have bids before it is started. And, whoever is the lowest bidder gets the contract and job.
And because of endless legal litigation – the same thing now happens all too often in the private sector. We are told that EVERYONE has to have a fair opportunity to get ahead – after all, THAT doctrinal approach is the only fair thing to do – regardless if they do a good job or not!
18] Pray tell – by using this approach, by relying upon this doctrine, and by believing that the public sector has all the answers – how could it ever be possible that as a nation we would ever come to the conclusion – to the point of believing that we could ever get the MOST for the least???!!!
SUCH A THOUGHT IS TOTALLY LUDICROUS – TOTALLY IRRATIONAL – TOTALLY ABSURD – TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FATHOM!!!!!
YET, THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAS HAPPENED AS WE HAVE EMBRACED AND INCORPORATED EVER MORE OF THOSE FOREIGN EUROPEAN DOCTRINES INTO OUR NATIONAL FABRIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thus, it is now very evident that quality, durability, old fashioned honesty, and truthfulness have all been replaced by various forms of greed – greed that is ever so sinful to its very core – which in functional reality then – actively promotes stealing from each other in one form or another!
And since God is not mocked – we find that we are now starting to pay the price for treating so lightly the super great blessing that He had in fact given to us via what our founding fathers had in fact created for us!
19] And, that in turn leads us to the next major doctrine that we must reconsider – one that we must also solidly re-establish as an integral part of our national fabric!
By definition, a Christian is a person who has faith in what God has stated in the Bible. And thus, a Christian bases his whole life upon what the doctrines that the Bible reveals to us; and thus, a Christian fashions his whole life around those doctrines as much as he is able to do so.
Granted, not everyone in America is a Christian. But, the principle is still there – simply because our nation has a solid Christian foundation. And thus, we are making a very huge mistake by forgetting that reality.
Of course, not everyone has to be a Christian so as to live in America – BUT – everyone must respect, abide by, and also live by those Christian doctrines as they relate to and interact with one another within our society in general and our national mores in particular.
Of necessity then, such things must include both moral and ethical behavior – such as not stealing from one another – to say nothing of also having a firm faith in what our founding fathers had created for us so many years ago.
20] Unfortunately, man by nature is going to fight against and rebel against such thoughts. In Christian theological circles, this problem, this issue is identified as original sin that lives within each one of us. Thus, each one of us has to continuously fight this problem because it automatically still remains within each and every one of us – Christian and non-Christian alike.
And the first ones to succumb to their sinful old Adam and to fight the impact that such a Christian doctrinal foundation had upon our national fabric and society at large with any significant impact upon our society as a whole were some of the very wealthiest from amongst us.
And as a result, this process of decay started and got its biggest boost from within that wealthy set. And in turn, that wealthy set was actually created as a major class within our nation as a direct result of us having to fight that Civil War.
And over time, they came to be known as the Robber Barons. The power and influence that they captured and took from the rest of us was one of the many negative things to come out of our having to fight a Civil War.
Incidentally, another major negative impact that also is still haunting us to this very day is the drug problem that we must deal with on daily basis – even today. Yes, our current drug problem actually got its start back during that period of our Civil War!
War created injuries. The bigger the war – the more injuries there are. War injuries cause extreme pain. Back then, the only medicine available was morphine. Morphine is very addictive. Thus, ever so many of our countrymen became addicted to morphine. Thus, our drug problem was born; and, it has continued ever since then!
Might it just be still another example of where God is not mocked?! When our nation was first created – we did not act boldly and eliminate slavery right from the beginning. It took us a number of years before we fought that Civil War so as to put an end to slavery once and for all.
Or at least, that was our intention, hope, and prayer at the time.
21] Not only did so many of our countrymen want to pervert our country by maintaining slavery; and, not believing in and supporting our country’s doctrinal concept that:
ALL MEN ARE TRULY CREATED EQUAL!
But also then, the Robber Barons – as a class of people – came into their own right as a direct result of us having to fight that Civil War. And in turn, those Robber Barons did everything in their power to get out from underneath the yoke of God’s moral, ethical, and eternal law; and, the impact that it would have upon them.
In their eyes, God’s demand for moral and ethical behavior prevented them from really satisfying their greedy yearnings and achieving their goals.
Thus very early on in our nation’s history, the early Robber Barons played mental gymnastics and corrupted our entire legal system by creating that fine division between being morally and ethically right and wrong on the one hand; and, being legally right and wrong on the other hand.
They did this so that they could bend the law to their way of thinking so that they could get what they wanted out of life – after all – they had the money to hire the best attorneys back then!
22] So as to accomplish their goals, they purposely imported ever so many foreign, European ideas and doctrines into our national fabric.
In fact, they flooded our country with those ISM’s from Europe. And our current judicial system of legalism is one such glaring example of their effort and accomplishments.
Unfortunately, that opened up the flood gates to all sorts of errors. And in the end, one of the most significant developments was the fact that the Robber Baron class became far larger and stronger than the federal government itself.
Thus, it became very easy for them to accomplish whatever it was that they wanted.
And let us remember that it is at this very point that the CEO’s of today are no different in kind from the way that the Robber Barons were back then! Both types – the original Robber Baron class and our current CEO class of people are one and the same class of people.
And in response and as an answer to such things, the progressive movement in American was created so as to combat a host of problems that had been created by them and their actions.
Unfortunately, what we have subsequently found out is that there were very strong ties to Europe from within both the Robber Baron class of people AND ALSO from within the progressive movement itself. YES, both groups championed various European solutions rather than relying upon and returning back to the foundation that our founding fathers had in fact created!
That has been the main focus of all of progressives from the very beginning of that movement’s creation.
And from the very beginning, it has been a problem that we have never been able to really comprehend – much less – being able to successfully fight against – a major problem that we have been totally unable to address – even down to this very day!
23] And likewise, what we also do not realize is that since the 1920’s, a significant portion of the entire progressive movement has utilized a doctrine that actually has its roots in Karl Marx’s theories of Communism.
And through the years since then, this process that they have employed has increased in usage to the point that we now find that it has reached a fever pitch – developing into an actual tsunami type of activity that will ultimately and absolutely bring catastrophic results with it!
The progressive movement has purposely employed this Marxist doctrine so as to achieve their objectives. The doctrine that they have adopted is called: thesis, anti-thesis, synthesis.
But before this doctrine can be explained, some fundamental facts must also be presented.
By definition, a conservative is NOT a person that is opposed to change as such. Change is not the issue for a conservative – as the liberal would like to label us; and, want others to believe!
Rather for a conservative, the real issue is recognizing, honoring, and fighting for certain absolute truths – such as the fact that 2 and 2 equals 4 – and – the doctrinal foundation of our country is the primary and most important foundation upon which everything else rests.
And quite obviously, great amounts of change can, should, and will automatically – indeed, must happen – especially so when operating under those strict guidelines!
But again, we as conservatives have allowed that radical, liberal, left wing element from within our society to label and to identify everything; and thus, we have allowed them to even identify who we really are!
WE HAVE BEEN ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL!
AND THUS, HOW TOTALLY PREPOSTEROUS ALL OF THIS HAS REALLY BECOME!
But as every good soldier knows – the best defense is a good offense.
So thus, until the conservative camp comes to the point of realizing that we are actually fighting a war for the very soul and survival of our nation – we will always end up loosing battles; and in the end, even loosing the war itself!
24] Thus, not only have the progressives adopted the Marxist doctrine as identified above; but also in line with that Marxist doctrine, they view this entire process through the prism of a war being waged. Yes, that is exactly how they look at the whole thing. They look at it as a war.
And again, as with every type of war, the best approach is to take the offensive.
Thus, every little progressive fish – every tiny, little minnow from within that super, giant sized sea of progressivism is doing his or her own thing to create change. In effect, they are looking and actively working for their very own 15 minutes of fame and glory by doing this or that.
And by continuously being on the offensive, their goal is to be able to eventually dominate everything and everyone over time. They employ this approach because they truly believe that they have all the answers! AH – true, genuine egotism working at its best as they work so diligently to litigate the nation to death!
25] Thus in their mind’s eye – this is how they view everything – the totality of life:
They label how anything and everything now is at this very moment in time as the thesis.
The key is to create a controversy. And, the controversy is the anti-thesis.
And in doing so, a battle or the reason for a battle is automatically created.
In turn, this anti-thesis wages war against the thesis.
And when the individual battle has ended, the synthesis emerges from out of the ashes of that war.
And in their minds, after the battle has ended, a change has occurred – even if it is ever so minute – and – regardless of who actually won that particular battle.
But immediately then, the new synthesis that has just emerged from out of the ashes of that battle now becomes the new current thesis.
And, the entire process is started all over again!
And by repeating this process over and over again, every minute change during each and every battle gradually moves the entire process towards the objectives that they are working for.
That is the very reason why we see such a flood – a genuine tsunami of attacks on all fronts against anything and everything – again – to include litigating the nation to death!
26] And likewise, that is why we have been inundated with so much information from all fronts.
And because there is such a flood of information – we automatically have reached the point of information overload. And thus, it becomes totally impossible for us to adequately defend and fight for everything simultaneously on all fronts at the same time.
Now, while they wage their war – it is not important for them if they win or loose any particular battle as such. All of that is nothing in their eyes. What really is important to them is that they create controversy in one form or another to whatever degree that they can create it.
Their major, primary goal is always to keep the pot stirred – to always create controversy!
27] Incidentally as a side thought here, we continually see and wonder why the prices always keep on rising on the products that we buy.
Obviously, a major part of that price increase is our never ending welfare types of payments to that current Robber Baron class from amongst us – the corporate CEO’s and the like.
Yet, still another major cause is our never ending welfare types of payments to that celebrity class of people. And, the advertising dollar is the very tool that is used to bring that all about.
This form of welfare is paid to people such as our sports heroes, TV and movie stars, singers, even our local TV personalities such as our news, weather, and sports anchors and reporters, things such as CNN – really now – the list could go on and on.
Still another reason for high prices includes the fact that we, as consumers, are also being used to finance and pay for one company buying out other companies – that merger frenzy that has been going on for ever so many years now – as the select few companies grow ever larger and bigger.
Ah, still another example that demonstrates the genuine functioning of capitalism at its best!
28] But yet – another major cause is the state of controversy itself. Controversy automatically increases the cost of everything!
And all too often we pooh-pooh that Biblical doctrine as stated in Ephesians 04:01-07 and so many other places in the Bible, thinking that we know so much more than God Himself; and, His penmen who wrote the Bible 2,000 years ago!
After all, is it not true that we as Americans have a Constitutional right to be free and to do whatever it is that we want to do – IN ALL THINGS – NO MATTER WHAT!
And automatically, this Marxist doctrine fits all too perfectly well into this whole attitude. And, it will automatically advance their cause ever so slowly and ever so inevitably!
And ever so gradually over time, the center of gravity will automatically move towards their objective simply because they have employed the strategy that the best defense is in truth an aggressive offensive type of action!
And in turn, again, the center piece of their entire strategy centers around their use of that Marxist doctrine called:
thesis, anti-thesis, synthesis
29] But now, the truth is finally coming out. It is finally becoming far more evident to all of us what type of war it is that they have been waging all along.
We have finally come to the point of being told by certain ones from within that radically liberal element that anyone who disagrees with what they deem to be proper is an enemy of the state!
We are told that all those who tried to defend America from the terrorists are in fact enemies of the state.
And not only that, even our soldiers are enemies of the state! And likewise, anyone who supports and advocates any type of conservative and/or Christian doctrine is also an enemy of the state!
Now, they have tried to float such concepts and ideas publicly, hoping to find enough support so as to make them become public doctrine.
HOW CONVENIENT FOR THEM!
30] But even if we can prevent such things from ever happening – something far more important has also actually finally taken place. It is the fact that their inner mind set has also finally been revealed for all of us to clearly see.
Through many years now, so many of us have viewed the radial liberal element as still being truly patriotic Americans – never acknowledging the fact that the Democratic Part was literally hijacked by that extremely radical left wing element way back there between 1968 and 1972!
Thru all these years, the conservatives have never wanted – in fact – have repeated refused to even face the truth – and view this radical element as being genuine enemies of America.
And now, we are paying the price for such fool hardy blindness, down right ignorance, and being totally asleep at the wheel!
And, I fear that it will get far worse before it gets any better – if it really does have a chance to get better!
31] When are we as conservatives going to stop being Mr. Nice Guys and start to really and truly fight for what we believe in?! When are we going to really go on the offensive and call a spade a spade?!
After all – since they started it – is it not time for us to have a genuine, thorough discussion about what it truly means to be an enemy of America – A DOMESTIC ENEMY AT THAT?!
And, I humbly submit that we should take them on and do battle with them over that very subject – that very doctrine!
And at this very point, let us remember that even our founding fathers recognized the fact that there was such a thing as being a DOMESTIC ENEMY and a TRAITOR!
And let us also remember this point – that back then when our founding fathers created this nation, they did not create a SOCIALISTIC type of nation like the liberal control freaks of today would have us believe; and, are trying to create!
32] And, that is the very reason why I am reaching out to everyone that I can. Yet, I am also very conscious of the fact that you are probably a very busy person.
However, I am also very confident that the ideas that are contained in this proposal rise to such a level that would warrant your time, effort, and involvement – indeed – demand your personal attention, passing it on to others, and even taking the time to actively promote this concept.
I mention all of this because I hope that this proposal will become a crusade for you over time, being driven by a deep sense of patriotism – just like it has become for me.
And since I am very patriotic, I am not ashamed to appeal to that sense of patriotism within you. I do so because to me, the truly important point in all of this is the fact that we both are Americans!
Likewise, I also ask this because I believe that it is long over due for our leaders to be honest, straight forward, having the courage to stand up for our nation’s doctrines, and actually fight for what is right – in a very tenacious, vocal, public sort of way – instead of just wallowing around in the mud, always compromising, or feeding at the trough with the rest of the crooked politicians!
You know, there still is a huge difference between being just a normal, indeed, just a typical politician on the one hand; and, a true, genuine statesman possessing character on the other.
There is a difference between being weak-kneed, self-serving, beholding to a power broker, and/or being an outright crook of one sort or another – and – being true, honest, and courageous.
And, that is why I must confess that I still wholeheartedly agree with what Senator Barry Goldwater stated so long ago. Yes, way back there in 1964, Barry Goldwater stated ever so eloquently for anyone and everyone – yes, both friend and foe alike – to hear and plainly understand that:
Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice!
33] Do you also agree with what he said back then?!
I hope so!
In fact such a belief structure is very important – especially now – because it is quite obvious that in the tradition of China under Mao, our nation seems to also be making its own GREAT LEAP –
yet, not forward like that communist nation tried to pretend to do – but rather in our case –
BACKWARDS towards our very own brand of outright socialism!
Indeed for a very long time now, that extremely liberal element within America has been trying to corrupt the very foundation of our nation – with that progressive, socialist camp having major successes during the Wilson era; and, especially during the Great Depression of the 1930’s.
And, having been personally involved in certain military activities back in the late 1960’s, I can also absolutely testify to the fact that the next major attack occurred back during that era – when the Democratic Party was literally hijacked by that radical element [1968-1972].
And at this point – I might just add that that attack and ultimate take over was a very, very real event in our nation’s history. And if anyone questions such a statement – just have them ask what the Swift Boat Men and others might just think about it all – even after all this time!
Or better yet – just ask them to look at what was happening back then during the 1968 Democratic National Convention that was held in Chicago, IL! They can watch and see for themselves what had actually happened simply by watching TV clips of that convention itself!
34] And now, the third major assault has begun!
Given the fact that our conservative camp has taken major hits during those events – especially so during the last two elections – I think it is obvious that something of a truly monumental nature will have to be done so as to save our nation – if that is what we really want to do!
And, that can only happen by going on the offensive, educating ourselves, one another, and our fellow Americans, and by truly regaining the dominant position. After all, 2 + 2 still equals 4! It does not equal 3 – nor does it equal 5! Likewise, the truth is still the truth; and, fact is still fact!
Of necessity then, that must include being aggressive and launching an all out attack against that radical left wing. And unless we are very bold and have the resolve to act and to call a spade a spade – to say nothing of also fighting tenaciously and continuously for our fundamental national doctrines – displaying a continual spirit of compromise or inaction will actually help destroy our nation!
35] Likewise, a major part of our effort against such an assault must also include a process to actually move our nation forward!!!!! And, it is that part of this entire effort that my proposal tries to address by offering viable, concrete, positive solutions to our country’s problems.
In short, we have to provide solutions that are entirely different and far better than what these control freaks are doing – or as the case may be – pretending to do.
If the time is taken to read the proposal which follows, you will discover that that is exactly what it does – or at the very least – it opens up the discussion for all so that we have a chance to actually arrive at such a conclusion.
And so thus, unlike the extremely liberal, socialistic tendencies that have become so prevalent within most levels and branches of our government – indeed – found within so much of our society at large – my proposal is not a power grab, not a pork barrel type activity, nor greedy.
36] In fact, instead of wanting more power and control – my objective is just the opposite! In fact, this proposal has been designed to get the government off of our backs. What is more, it has been designed to also produce genuine solutions and creating the potential for true advancement!
It has been in that fine American tradition that I am presenting my proposal for your review and consideration. Thus, I identify various milestones in our nation’s transportation history.
And, that is the very reason why I believe that my proposal is so important at this very moment in our nation’s history. It continues in that tradition. To that end, this proposal of mine has been designed to produce real, positive, concrete change within our beloved America.
And, always believing in the capability of America as a whole; and, in the philosophy that two heads are always better than one – I am naturally very interested in the specifics as I have presented them within my proposal.
Yes, I do believe that my ideas do have merit. And yes, I do not see anything wrong with ultimately being compensated for such ideas in one form or another – not to the extreme as some greedy people would demand; but, in a respectful, responsible, reasonable manner.
But also, I freely acknowledge that others will also have excellent ideas in developing this overall concept. And along those lines, I look forward to the entire process being a win – win opportunity for countless individuals in addition to myself – indeed – for all of us Americans!
37] In short, I am concerned with America as a whole – rather than just being concerned with promoting and increasing my own net wealth, agenda, personal ideas, and ego.
To that end, my main emphasis and focus is directed towards enlisting the support of and promoting the involvement and effort of a host of individual Americans from throughout our great nation!
Eventually, the actions and activities of corporate America and America at large will also be needed to bring this all about. Likewise, government will also have a role legislatively so as to allow all of this activity to happen.
But the prime mover behind this entire effort – as I see it – must still be; and thus, remain within the private sector, starting with the involvement and effort of genuine Americans such as you.
Indeed, if one looks at and rediscovers our history, one will most readily see our true historical roots – the roots that actually championed so many noble causes ---
--- especially so in leading the charge and fighting against slavery!
IS IT NOT TIME FOR US TO RECAPTURE THAT SAME SPIRIT – THAT SAME PASSION THAT WE ONCE HAD SO THAT WE CAN CARRY ON THE CRUSADE?!

So thus, I take this opportunity to sincerely and humbly invite you to take a few moments to read the following proposal. I will confess that there is some length to it – 15 pages in all. But, I also firmly believe that the effort required to read my proposal will be time and effort well spent.

…… THE ANSWER IS AN ULTRA FAST RAIL SYSTEM
01] They say that necessity is the mother of invention.
If this is true, then we all will most readily have to acknowledge that the recent and truly history rise in the PRICE of oil was very close to reaching its critical mass. And even though the price is now far lower, something of a truly monumental nature will still have to be done so as to divert a future disaster of mega proportions, a disaster that could take any number of different forms.
In fact, even though we are now enjoying a little breather from it all; and thus, our attention span and resolve have also disappeared – NOW is the very time for us to place all of our options on the table so as to consider all of the potential possibilities that lie before us!
Likewise, this creates the absolute necessity for all of us to challenge and reconsider many of the present paradigms that we hold so dear – indeed – paradigms that up until now we have actually taken just for granted; or at the very least, ones that we have become all too comfortable with.
And unless we have the presence of mind and courage to do that very thing – with a fair and open mind – we will never, ever truly know what we could have done so as to divert a potentially catastrophic situation or disaster from happening to us sometime in the future.
Nor, would we ever really know what major advancements we could have started working on today as we continue to build for our individual and national wellbeing tomorrow!
Thus in this presentation, I first sound the alarm – the call to arms so to speak – presenting the reasons why immediate action should be taken – right now. And then, I present what I believe the correct action should be – namely – to completely revamp our entire transportation structure so as to address and successfully meet those challenges before us.
And, there is something else that we must remember. All of our effort in this area will absolutely be worth it simply because it would have such far reaching, truly positive, absolutely profound implications for each one of us individually – to say nothing for our beloved nation as a whole!
02] At this point, let us also remember that not too long ago [spring 2007], those in the news media reported that the French had set a new speed record of over 350 mph on their rail system. That was the OTHER type of good news to recently come out of France – in addition to the victory of the pro-American candidate during their recent Presidential election.
Yet at the same time, the volatility within the Mid East will still continue to have an enormous impact upon our oil supplies and associated costs, to say nothing of potentially impacting our security and national independence.

The threat of terrorism will also continue for many years to come. Need I say more?
Thus, the total economic impact upon our nation as a whole will also be monumental, to say nothing of the potential of it reaching a truly catastrophic level.
Thus, our nation’s security, economic wellbeing, and ultimately, even our very way of life will all be determined by our response to those issues that we are facing today.
And in the end, everything will revolve around oil; namely, its effect upon our transportation network along with its effect upon almost everything else in our life.
03] And yet, the vast majority of our political and business leaders, pundits, and others who think that they “know it all” still continue to only nibble around the edges of this massive, significant, all inclusive problem with their truly feeble attempts at addressing these major issues that are staring us square in the face.
Now at first glance, this may seem like a rather hard, cold, bold, brash statement – especially considering the fact that the one who is making this statement is a true nobody in the big scheme of things!
But I humbly and sincerely ask you to think about it for awhile.
For instance, the type of conservation that has been discussed thus far is truly naïve for the times that we are now living in. This is true because it is very limited in its scope; and therefore, its ultimate potential.
Indeed, if conservation would ever be carried out to its logical conclusion in the form that has been presented thus far; of necessity then, we would have to regress back to the good old days of the horse and buggy ---- at least from a metaphorical perspective!
This is especially true when considering the type of change being proposed by some of our political leaders – such as inflating our tires, tune ups, reducing the speed limit, etc.!
Heaven help us if that is ALL that they can come up with!!!!
Likewise, take a few moments and consider things such as bio fuels, alternative energy sources, building more refineries, drilling off shore and up in Alaska, and so forth.
Now individually, many of these ideas are excellent – such as building refineries, drilling up in Alaska, and off shore for instance.
Yet, not every idea that has been proposed is a good idea!
For instance, consider what the bio-fuel movement has done to the cost of our food! Could there be a cause and effect here?
What is more, the times that we are now living in are anything but normal.
Thus, some of these perfectly normal, really good approaches may ultimately be doomed to failure. And, the reason for that is quite simple.
Those who promote such things still believe in; and thus, they are only promoting more of the same old thing. Or in other words, they are promoting nothing more than the status quo.

WHEREAS CONVERSELY, WHAT REALLY HAS TO BE DONE IS FOR US TO COME UP WITH A COMPLETELY NEW APPROACH TO ADDRESSING THE ISSUES BEFORE US!
AND TO DO THAT, WE HAVE TO THINK OUT SIDE OF THAT PROVERBIAL BOX!
04] And, I humbly submit, that such a thing is entirely possible for us to do!
In fact, I further submit that we [as a nation] have already done things such as this more than once during our past.
What is more, I firmly believe that we can; and indeed, must do it once again.
Indeed, we must do it RIGHT HERE and RIGHT NOW!
Thus, I entreat you to take a few moments so as to contemplate such things as I simply list a few examples from our past, which in turn, absolutely demonstrates the fact that at one time, we [as a nation] had most definitely thought outside of that box.
And likewise, this simple list will also conclusively demonstrate what can truly happen when we do that again!
In fact back then, we were very bold in our actions.
What is more, these examples also conclusively demonstrate that the operation of our boldness at those precise, critical periods of our history was the very thing which then produced the greatest leaps forward for our nation as a whole!
For instance, the most significant milestones in our transportation history must include the Erie Canal [Clintons Folly], the railroads stretching across the entire continent, the Panama Canal, the inventions of the automobile and airplane [you know, God did not create people with wings; or, so some said back then], the St Lawrence Seaway, and of course our Interstate Highway network.
Back then, at each step of the way, each one of these examples provides a perfect example of how some were thinking outside of the box during the very time in which these ideas were first being thought up, proposed, and initiated.
Yet at the very same time, many [if not most] scoffed at and ridiculed such perceived foolishness!
But in the end, each one of these advancements ultimately captured the imagination of our entire nation while also uniting us behind a specific goal. Thus in the end, truly great things were ultimately accomplished.
05] I propose that we must champion and launch a similar type of crusade today so as to propel our nation to its real potential and ultimate destiny. This is especially true today since we must address such a wide range of adversities that plague us.
So in other words, I propose that we choose a construction project of a similar magnitude. And then, we must make such a great, massive, significant, and all inclusive construction project the center piece of our entire national effort.
NOW – something along these lines would actually be an example of REAL, CONCRETE, POSITIVE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER – instead of being nothing more than a hollow and rather convenient campaign slogan just so as to win an election!

In fact, the type of project that is being proposed here has many different facets to it.
And in turn, this fact would favorably impact and champion many different political viewpoints, causes, and various environmental concerns – to say nothing of the fact that this project would also help to keep our nation safe and secure while at the same time, also strengthening our economic foundation.
What is more, an undertaking such as this would automatically advance the lifestyle of every American citizen.
This would even be true for the lifestyle of the very poorest from amongst us. This would be true simply because such a proposal would produce a most noticeable and genuinely true increase in our collective standard of living!
What I propose is a transportation building project of such a magnitude that it would automatically propel our entire nation and economy into the 21st century.
But that is not all!
A project such as this would also automatically launch a 2nd American industrial revolution of mega proportions; thereby, dramatically EXPANDING rather than continuing to destroy the size, wealth, and strength of our middle class and manufacturing foundation.
06] Now, there are fundamental reasons for undertaking a project such as this.
For instance, right now within America, the 3 major modes of transportation include the plane, train, and car.
And like everything else in life, each one of these modes is always under the influence and control of Newton’s Third Law of Motion [which states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction].
In other words, this is nothing more than the operation of what can also be called the cause and effect.
Therefore as we have created, used, and expanded each mode over time, the automatic operation of that Third Law of Motion has produced a certain action; which in turn, is nothing more than the positive side of this equation.
Thus, each mode has its own primary advantage.
For instance, we find that:
A] The plane has speed,
B] The train has efficiency,
C] The car has convenience.
But unfortunately, each one of these modes also has its own reaction; which of necessity then, must include all of the various negatives that are also automatically found within each mode.
It is the existence of all those disadvantages [negatives] that limits the overall development and ultimate capability of each mode individually. And, that is why no one mode has yet to become the end all and be all – no one mode has yet to become the ultimate solution to all of our transportation needs and problems.

In fact by themselves, the existence and operation of those disadvantages has proven to be very detrimental to our health, the environment, and economic wellbeing of our nation as a whole.
For instance, it is quite obvious that breathing the exhaust from the internal combustion engine [like the car, for instance] will kill.
And likewise, consider the total negative economical impact resulting from those high oil prices [being created for whatever reason]. Even during the best of times, we still have trade deficits to the tune of 10’s of BILLIONS of dollars per month just for oil.
Now, that is money that is taken directly out of the average American’s pockets – month after month and year after year – a never ending cycle that stretches from here to eternity!
IT TRULY BEATS ME HOW ANYONE COULD EVER PRETEND THAT SUCH A GIANT TRANSFER OF WEALTH IS TRULY GOOD FOR US COMMON FOLK?!
07] Therefore, I propose that we remember our historical roots.
Thus just like we have always done throughout our history up to this point in time, I propose that we continue in this tradition by creating concrete solutions that could and would go a long way towards eliminating all of those negatives that are inherently found within our current transportation structure.
And in turn, that would be accomplished by building a transportation structure that is at the cutting edge of technology rather than just complaining about the situation; or in effect, just nibbling at the edges like so many have been prone to do up to this point in time.
The answer is not simply just adding more regulations such as a 55 mph speed limit, carbon taxes, and the like. In effect, such things are nothing more than moving backwards – or at the very most – standing still as we simply mark time. BUT RATHER, the answer is to boldly move forward!
Thus in line with this approach, the ultimate goal must be to find a way so as to combine these three major advantages [speed, efficiency, and convenience] into one seamless, all inclusive mode of transportation. And of these three [plane, train, car], the train provides the best possible foundation upon which to build such a transportation network.
Thus, I have labeled this entire concept as an ULTRA FAST RAIL system so as to easily differentiate it from the normal concept of high speed rail; because in the end, there really are no similarities between the two.
And just like it was when the recoilless gun was first created, creating this seamless mode of transportation would automatically propel our entire transportation network to its ultimate and logical level of development thus far, while also providing a vehicle whereby many if not all of the various disadvantages of the individual modes could also be eliminated and/or neutralized to the greatest possible degree.
08] In essence, what I propose is a rail network that would blanket the entire nation. And in operation, this system would rival the speed of jets, while also incorporating the convenience of the car and truck; while at the same time, capitalizing on the efficiency of rail.
As a simple example, consider the potential and ramifications if one could travel on the ground via this rail network from Houston, TX to Los Angeles, CA [a distance of approximately 1500 miles] in only 3 to 5 hours.

That means that this rail system would have to approach the speeds of jet planes during normal operation [i.e., speeds in the range of 300 to 500 mph]!
But that is not all!
Unlike the planes and trains of today, this rail system would also maximize the convenience of one’s own car. This would happen because when one got to their destination, their own car would also be there with them. So in other words, one’s own car would automatically be included during all phases of this transportation experience [if one so desired].
And equally important, this transportation system would automatically capitalize on the efficiency of rail because one power source would be used to propel multiple shipping units. And, this factor cannot be emphasized enough.
In fact, this entire rail system would become the ultimate conservation tool!
Yes, that is right. By adopting this proposal, such a fact would be an absolute consequence.
Such a consequence would be automatic simply because this proposal includes the movement of both passengers and freight within the overall concept of this entire rail system.
09] At this point, think of what the ultimate possibilities could be!
YES, take a moment or two so as to contemplate what would happen if we actually did eliminate 50% - OR MORE of our need; indeed, our UTTER dependence upon:
A] Jet fuel for planes!
B] Diesel fuel for trucks and trains!
C] Gasoline for our cars!
Yes, just think of what would be possible if we could significantly reduce and/or even eliminate our dependence upon OPEC oil, to say nothing of the fact that the overall life span of the family car could also be increased by a number of years [among many other advantages].
YES! JUST THINK OF WHAT KIND OF IMPACT THE MERE MENTION OF THIS PROJECT WOULD HAVE UPON THE PRICE OF OIL – EVEN TODAY.
THEN, LET US CONSIDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN ONCE WE ACTUALLY STARTED TO WORK ON IT!
So yes indeed then, the ultimate potential of this rail system is truly that significant!
Yes, just think of the money that the average American family would save over time; and thus, they would actually then have the option to either spend it, save it, or invest that money so as to increase their own real, total net wealth over time!
Talk about conservation and good stewardship of our natural resources!
Talk about insuring the continued economic viability of the average American family and our nation as a whole, to say nothing of keeping us safe and independent from those who would like to harm us!

And most important during this age of terrorism, we have to be conscious of the fact that it is kind of hard to use trains as a weapon by flying them into buildings like they did planes back on September 11th!
10] Now, in addition to the continual operation and resulting impact that the Third Law of Motion has upon all the different modes of transportation, I have also factored into this proposal the realization that all the different modes of transportation are comprised of the same three segments of travel.
For instance, the plane does not just include the element of flying. Flight must also include both the pre and post travel segments.
The pre-travel segment includes getting from our home or office to the airport and the time spent at the airport, etc. Likewise, the post-travel segment includes terminal time again; and, getting to our ultimate destination.
Thus when all of this is factored in, the actual speed of this mode [flight] is significantly reduced; and thus, no where near as fast as one would initially or casually like to think.
And what is more, let us remember one thing. The fact is that during the last 50 – 60 years of flight, the actual speed of those jet planes has never really increased – save for that of the Concord flights.
But even then, Concord flights from Chicago to Milwaukee are neither practical nor efficient! Nor for that matter, neither are such types of flights from New York to Los Angeles!
Yet for most of us – especially for the younger generation – space travel represents the ultimate potential in travel.
But let us be honest with ourselves.
Even though it could probably be done one day in the future, there still would NEVER be any real advantage for us to use space travel just to go from Chicago to Milwaukee or even New York to Los Angeles!
But, there is even more!
The best possible choice would be if we could use our own car during the post-travel segment so that we would not have to purchase additional transportation.
But now, our car is still sitting at home or in the airport parking lot.
So under present design, flight automatically increases the cost by forcing us into always having to pay for additional transportation during both the pre and post-travel segments,
And again, all three modes have these travels segments; and, the resulting, individual positive and negative qualities.
BUT THEN, HERE IS THE REAL KICKER!
These segments of travel have the same impact upon the movement of freight as well as they do upon the movement of passengers.
Thus in the final analysis, my system has incorporated the benefits of each mode into one, new, seamless mode of transportation while eliminating as many of the negatives as possible for both passenger and freight movement.

THUS FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN OUR HISTORY – IN THE TRADITION OF THE CREATION OF THE RECOILLESS GUN – TRUE, GENUINE ADVANCEMENT IS NOW TRULY POSSIBLE – YET THIS TIME – IN THE AREA OF TRANSPORTATION!
11] And in turn, this can be achieved by realizing that each mode has its optimum zone of travel [ZOT].
For instance, the plane is ideally suited for travel across oceans and to distant parts of the world. Likewise, our cars and trucks are ideally suited for traveling short distances, such as going 50 miles or less.
And rail would be the best possible choice for traveling 50 miles or more and even across the continent.
But at this point, it also is important to emphasize the fact that the design of our current railroad structure still has its place [i.e., thinking of the unit trains and so on]. Likewise, ocean going ships and barge traffic would also still operate in essentially the same manner as they do today.
Nevertheless, the primary problem up to this point in time has always been that the three major modes have always been competing against each other for market domination rather than working in concert with each other.
In other words, the either/or crowd has been fighting, competing against, and beating up on those who believe in the both/and approach.
And so thus, major problems have been created, while achieving real progress in transportation has remained as nothing more than just some very illusive dream.
12] So conversely then, this ultra fast rail system is the very first time in the history of our nation that the inherent advantages of each mode has been combined into one entity. Thus, this proposal facilitates the best possible method of transportation overall and in each specific situation. In turn, that produces the best possible results for the average American family – to even include our nation as a whole over time.
In essence, this ultra fast rail system facilitates the best possible method for all three modes.
Travel within the 50 mile range would still remain on the current highway network. Likewise, travel to distant parts of the world; and, across the oceans would still be via the plane.
But then with this rail system, there would be a series of terminals strategically located and placed throughout our country.
Initially, each terminal would encompass a 50 mile radius; but then as business levels would warrant, satellite terminals located closer together could be also added. These terminals would be the gateway onto this ultra fast rail system.
13] Likewise, this rail system would be built so that it blanketed the entire nation. In operation, there would be two major components – with both components blanketing the whole nation.
The first component would be the regional lines. This regional component would handle all travel up to the 500 mile range.

But then, the inclusion of the second component would handle that travel that exceeds the 500 mile range, to include the transcontinental variety. Access onto these long distance lines would be from the regional lines at strategically placed consolidation centers located throughout the country.
All rail lines would have a minimum of 2 tracks for simultaneous operation in both directions. But depending upon volume, 4, 6, or even 8 tracks could be built for each line. These rail lines could be stacked one on top of the other as needed – for instance – with the freight lines beneath and the passenger lines on top.
Initially, 5 major east-west lines are envisioned with a number of north-south, diagonal, connecting, and spur lines.
What is more, specific spur lines could also be built so as to gain access to our natural wonders such as the Grand Canyon; along with still other spur lines to man-made wonders such as Disney World.
Also, the basic design of this rail network would copy that of the Interstate Highway system in that it would use overpasses, cloverleaf interchanges, and the like. Equally important, there would be no crossings at grade.
Thus, speed on this entire network has been designed to always be at maximum speed [of course, except during emergencies].
Therefore, that also means that entry and exit from these main lines will always be at speed.
Likewise, the speed would automatically decrease [or, speed up] on the access line itself on its way to and from the terminal area.
And, there have been numerous fail-safe and safety features that have also been designed throughout this system.
14] At all times, this entire rail network would always avoid population centers as much as possible, except to provide access to specific terminals for entry and exit onto the system.
Likewise, the entire system will always be elevated, except when tunneling is required in specific areas. [All of these things will be accomplished for safety reasons; and/or, so that the ground underneath can still be used for other purposes, such as farming].
And equally important, it will be built so as to protect all animal life and the fowl as good stewardship would also require.
Plus, it will be electrified throughout via a third rail [and, via a gantry system within the terminal area]. Thus, wind, solar, natural gas, nuclear, coal, thermal, or even water generated power [such as from dams for example] could be used to provide power throughout the entire system.
So thus, this system of electrification in and of itself would also automatically provide a major plus for those pollution and environmental considerations.
15] And likewise then, in concert with this new rail system, I have also developed some theories relative to the handling of containers at our ports. The concepts that I have developed reduces the number of steps [and therefore the cost and time] that it takes to lift containers off of and onto the container ships.

This is accomplished by reducing the number of steps that it takes a crane to lift a container off of or onto a ship. The number of steps would be reduced from the current number of 6 down to just 2 steps during both the unloading and reloading process.
And in turn, this will speed the entire process up [while reducing costs] to its maximum potential.
In other words, this process in concert with other advancements envisioned could reduce the container ship’s port time needed to unload and reload its container load, very possibly reducing that time by 50% or even more!
16] But also, another integral part of this proposed container process is how it would also be dovetailed into this entire ultra fast rail system. Thus in operation, both facets of this entire process would then challenge the continued significance of the Panama Canal itself.
Likewise then, an integral part of speeding up the handling of containers within our ports would be to utilize a conveyor system thru every step of the way. And in turn, such a conveyor system could also be easily used so as to provide that pivotal link in maintaining the highest degree of inspections and security within our ports against those terrorist elements.
But most important, this entire system of handling containerized freight [both within the ports and via this rail system] would significantly reduce the overall costs of goods.
And therefore, that would most favorable impact the ultimate price that is charged to the consumer in the store.
And in fact, such a thing would go a long way towards increasing the consumer’s buying power, standard of living, and ultimate net wealth over time.
While at the same time, such a thing would also most definitely increase the overall competitive advantage of American industry within the global marketplace.
17] So thus in turn, the ultimate impact upon the average American family and our nation as a whole [for both the individual American family and businesses in general] would be further enhanced by maximizing the general movement of freight via this rail system throughout out nation.
This would be accomplished by turning the standard containers [both the short and long versions] into the normal tool used for all shipping within our nation, which would replace the normal van, refer, and flat bed trailers that are generally used today.
Thus, these containers could easily, conveniently, and always be used in all modes, regardless if it was truck, rail, container ships, or even barges and airplanes.
Utilizing these containers and this rail system would also include the transport of all goods transported by our entire domestic transportation industry, such as air freight, the LT and LTL segments of the trucking industry, along with the small package industry, and even the US mail.
18] Thus, all freight handled within America that traveled more than 50 miles would follow this general process.
The loaded containers would be sitting on their semi trailer at the point of origin; namely, at the place where the container was loaded. Now at this point, there would be two different varieties of these containers.
The first type would be the normal container with the doors in the rear for loading in the traditional method.

But also, there would be another version, with the doors on the side so that long freight could just be conveniently and easily loaded thru the side of the trailer so as to protect the freight.
Of course, other specialized containers would also be built – such as flat bed, refers, bulk commodities, and the like.
Likewise then, when loaded, a semi tractor would come by and hook up to the container trailer and pull it to the rail loading terminal. This terminal would usually be located within a 50 mile distance from the point of origin.
When arriving at the rail terminal, the container transfer area would be built so as to handle multiple trailers at the same time via automatic side unloading devices [using the side method so as to speed the process up – versus lifting the container off of or sliding them off of the back of the trailer]; and then, utilizing a conveyor system so as to move the container within the rail yard as needed.
Thus, the container would automatically be taken off of the trailer. And then, the conveyor system would then automatically move, short, store and retrieve [when needed], and load the container onto the railway car for the actual travel portion.
This rail system would then transport the container on the railway car at 300 – 500 mph to its destination terminal.
And then within the destination terminal, another conveyor system would reverse the entire process by automatically taking the container off of the railway car, moving, shorting, storing as needed, and loading back onto semi trailers [again, side loading multiple trailers at the same time] so that the last leg to the final destination [again, usually within a 50 mile radius] could then be accomplished.
19] Likewise, this ultra fast rail system has been designed to be interactive with the present railroad lines, especially in the use of industrial sidings and the like.
Thus, even though the present style of railroad cars could and would not be allowed on this rail network, the equipment from this new rail system could and would use the current railroad right of way to access industrial plants and loading sights directly.
Thus over time, railway feeder lines would emanate from the terminal to various industrial plants, warehouses, and loading points so that freight could be loaded directly onto the railway cars of this ultra fast rail system.
The best thing about this idea is that over time, this process would eliminate the vast majority of instances in which a tractor and trailer would be required to travel on our highways.
And in turn, this would absolutely reduce highway congestion, speeding up the movement of both freight and passenger traffic, reducing the need for new construction and continuous highway repairs, and thereby significantly increasing the overall life span of the present highway network itself – to say nothing of reducing the tax burden upon all of us!
Thus when loaded, these railway cars would immediately, speedily, and automatically travel under their own power on the feeder lines to the terminal area so that they could immediately and automatically be connected to freight trains headed to various destinations throughout the country.
Of course, the delivery segment would just reverse the entire procedure. Likewise, a variation of this approach could also be used to facilitate passenger movement to and from the terminal area.

20] Now at this point, it is very important to visualize in one’s mind the real capability of this ultra fast rail system.
We are talking about transporting freight in volume over thousands of miles within just a matter of a few hours; in fact, over night!
Today, this is truly an impossible task!
That is right!
This is a feat that no other mode of transport [neither plane nor truck] could ever hope to accomplish in volume – especially so in a convenient, economical, and truly efficient manner!
Yet, this ultra fast rail system has the potential to actually transport freight in volume, while approaching the speed of flight; yet, at a cost that could be comparable to transporting that same freight via truck or even rail!
JUST THINK OF WHAT THE ULTIMATE POSSIBILITIES COULD BE!
Just think of the impact that this system would have upon the just in time concept of freight movement.
Likewise, we all know that food that ripens naturally on a vine or branch tastes far, far better than something that has to be picked green so that it can be shipped long distances. Such food has to then ripen [if it can really be called that] somewhere along the line!
One small side benefit to this system would be that food could actually ripen on the vine or branch; and then, it could be shipped overnight from the west coast out to the east coast – IN VOLUME so that all of us – not just the very rich – could actually enjoy such fine tasting food!
And lest we forget, the same would also be true in transporting individual passengers, along with their car at the same time!
[Of course, this system would also incorporate passenger cars that carried just people and their luggage in a similar way as the old passenger trains used to do for those who wanted to travel that way, while leaving their car at home.]
So, when everything has been said and done, this ultra fast rail system has the potential to handle individual units of both passenger and freight traffic throughout our nation at a rate totaling in the hundreds of millions of units [railway cars] per year – with the ultimate potential to handle any volume required in the most efficient, economical, and convenient fashion that has ever been possible up to this point in time!
21] Truly now, this ultra fast rail system provides a most significant and giant leap forward for both concerns – for both our individual and our nation’s overall security, economic future, and general wellbeing!
But, that is not all!
In fact within metropolitan areas, there are both short and long term possibilities here. In the short term, a variation of this rail system could also be developed and then used so as to aid in the normal commute. .

For instance, the concept of light rail has recently been making a comeback within urban America. But once again, let us be honest here. That really is not advancement! But rather, that is nothing more than old technology with a new paint job! So, what have we really gained?!
And likewise, let us consider the long term potential of this system. Because the speed is so high [especially when compared to light rail], whole new possibilities of life within America begin to emerge.
Thus at some point in the future, it would be entirely possible for one to live 100, 200 miles, or even more from work; and, still be able to efficiently, economically, and speedily commute to work via this rail system, taking only an hour or so to go to work. Such a time is almost the same length of time that many commutes normally take today!
Thus gradually over time, the make-up of the entire country would change – just like what had happened when the automobile had created our current urban environment.
Only this time, this rail system could be used to facilitate a more systematic and orderly method to such an advancement.
Thus for instance, it would be entirely possible for manufacturing and related business centers to gradually develop and become congregated within specific locations.
And yet, everyone [to even include the poorest from among us] who worked within those areas would be able to commute a distance of their choice which was away from this industrial complex to a place that offered a far more pleasant living condition and environment.
22] In fact, the possibilities that this rail system offers are quite limitless. It all depends upon the imagination and will of our fellow Americans.
For instance, it could very easily spread throughout American, up into Canada, and even into Alaska, down into Mexico; and from there, into the rest of Central and South America.
Likewise – given a stable geo-political environment – it could also spread via the Bering Strait into Russia, down into India and China, all over Europe, and via the Channel Tunnel into England. Also, it could spread down into the Mid East and the entire continent of Africa.
So in reality, the possibilities are quite endless as to what can really be accomplished.
23] Nevertheless in the end, for such a rail system to ever become reality, it all depends upon whether or not such high rates of speed could ever be achieved. Likewise then, how can the whole thing be built? What will the railway cars look like? In short, what are the particulars of the entire system.
Extensive thought has been given to a wide variety of those particulars.
For instance, it has been envisioned that magnetic forces will be used in various ways which would allow this rail system to reach those high rates of speed – but yet – those same magnetic forces will be used in such a way so that this equipment will still be compatible with our present railroad structure in urban areas.
Likewise, a host of additional particulars have also been thought through to their logical and functional conclusions.
But in the end, the emphasis is not on the brain power or the theories of just one individual. After all, one’s own personal ego is not the all important thing here.

What is more, no one individual has an infinite mind. [Nevertheless, there is nothing wrong with receiving adequate compensation for new ideas and accomplishments.]
Rather, the ideas that are being presented are just a beginning. And in the spirit of the American way; and, with the philosophy that two heads are always better than one, it is envisioned that the combined effort of many Americans will be used to ultimately make this entire concept become a reality.
After all, that is the true genius of the real American spirit.
24] Yet, there is still one last area that must be discussed. Upon initial review, this entire concept may seem to be a threat to the way things are now done; and, those very industries and businesses that now currently dominate various portions of our energy and transportation system and infrastructure.
And in one sense of the term, such an observation and fear appears to be so very true.
But when viewed from a slightly different perspective, just the opposite situation starts to present itself.
And, I humbly submit that it is this later observation that may in fact be the correct approach.
And in turn, this later observation may be the most plausible because it has actually been built upon reality – especially so if a sense of good, old fashioned, American patriotism is also included and promoted!
That American patriotism is the very thing that has enabled our nation to develop to the degree that it has over time.
And, if one shoots down and/or eliminates that sense of true, genuine American patriotism, progress will NOT be made; but rather, we as a nation will continue to regress back into time.
And in the end, that is why I say that the far left actually wants us to retreat back to the days of the horse and buggy – if not in a very real sense; at least, in a metaphorical sense!
They neither want individuals nor our nation to succeed. They just want power and control at all cost! At the very least, they fear any type of change that they do not control and direct.
Thus, this system could not be built as a continuation of or an off-shot of the present system. But rather, it has to be created, initiated, and built as a completely new and separate endeavor from what we have now.
25] Likewise, it is realized that a poor person cannot support, promote, and create an Ultra Fast Rail system like the one being proposed here, simply because he does not have the power, connection, influence, and financial wherewithal to do so.
Whereas conversely, the giants within the industries and businesses that could be affected by a project such as this are the very ones who do have the money, power, and control either to kill this idea outright – or – to support, promote, and create this system.
Given this fact to be true, the question obviously becomes:
Why would they ever support such a project?!
In the end, the answer to that question is rather simple.

Of necessity, they would have to be in on the project from the ground floor so to speak because they would be the ones financing and building it.
Thus, one consideration during this endeavor must include their sense of patriotism.
But also, the second consideration must also emphasize that over time, their involvement and participation in this project would just mean that part their wealth would have been transferred from one money making venture into still another money making venture.
So in the end, their wealth would neither be threatened nor decreased.
BUT RATHER OVER TIME [just like what happened when Standard Oil was broken up], their wealth would actually grow and expand even more!
So in other words, it is entirely possible that this proposal could in fact create a win, win type of situation for all of us!
26] Therefore in conclusion, thank you very much for taking the time to review my proposal.
If you feel that it is a project that does have merit, something that you are interested in championing, exploring the potential of, promoting, and building, please do not hesitate to become involved.
Yes, in my humble estimation, there is no question as to the worthiness, viability, need, and benefits to this project.
Thus, I hope that I have been able to paint a word picture that does true justice to this most clear vision that is within my mind; because in the end, it would take the dedicated effort of those like you to help bring it about.
And likewise, we must remember that it took the foresight and dedicated effort other great men throughout our history so as to accomplish what we have thus far.
At this point, I am thinking of those men who initially built our railroads; and others, such as President Roosevelt in building the Panama Canal and President Eisenhower back in the 1950’s in promoting and starting the construction on both the St Lawrence Seaway and our present Interstate Highway system.
Yet, this process actually started way back there in time, back very early in our nation’s history with Clinton and the Erie Canal. And from that time on, it has continued down to this very day.
Will our great nation continue in that tradition?!
That is the challenge before us!
I hope we have the courage to meet this very real challenge head on!
Thus I conclude with belief that if we are bold and think outside of the box – to say nothing of being patriotic and loving our country – along with understanding and fighting to keep our nation’s doctrinal base pure – truly great things can continue to happen – things that would actually move our entire nation ever forward – especially so today as we must face so many great challenges, issues, and problems!
